The United Methodist Foundation of Santa Rosa serves Jesus Christ by supporting the long-term funding and investment needs of the First United Methodist Church's church-related institutions and ministries and by educating, encouraging, and enabling individuals to carry out Christian philanthropy.
Funds
All contributions to the Foundation are immediately invested. Contributions which are not specified for a particular purpose are placed in the General Endowment Fund and distributed for use as defined in the Foundation Grant Policy. The Foundation encourages undesignated gifts. This maximizes the ability to meet the broad variety of requests received.
If the donor has a particular interest and desires the contribution to go to a specific purpose, the donor may designate the use of the gift and it will be placed in an appropriate endowed fund. A list of designated funds follows. It is wise to continue to grow the designated funds to maximize the value of the distributions.
It is important to remember, the invested prinicpal is protected and never spent. Only the interest and dividends from the investments are distributed.

| Willfred & Elbert Rankin Memorial Scholarship | To be given to a student going to a 4-year college adn active in the United Methodist Church |

| FUMC General Scholarship (Ida Baggett Memorial) | To provide college scholarships |
| FUMC Preschool Child Care Center Scholarship (Dorothy Larkin) | To assist parents with tuition for the FUMC Preschool CCC |

| Alice & Jack Kellar Children Youth Fund | To be used for Sunday School, daily Vacation Bible School, and Church summer camp. Any income not used for the foregoing purposes can be used for capital improvements. |
| Maxine E Fogle Music Program Enhancement | To be used at the request of the Music Director of the FUMC Santa Rosa. |
| Etta Meyers Memorial | To be used for the hearing impaird or student loans. |
